How Men Pay More for Sex
Than They Care to Admit

Sex tax is never discounted. It is always paid in full. All men pay for sex. That line may sound harsh, but truth doesn’t blink. Payment isn’t always folded notes in a stranger’s hand. Sometimes it’s time you’ll never get back. Sometimes it’s the slow leak of peace. Sometimes it’s the trust of a wife, the respect of children, the credibility of a witness for Christ. Whatever the currency, sex has a price tag, and the bill always comes due.

 Sex is spiritual energy exchange. Not just skin to skin, but spirit to spirit. Men who stalk the neon streets of red-light districts pay in kind and in cash. Men who warm another man’s bed in adultery pay higher: shame, broken homes, legal wreckage and asset loss. Fornication drains. Womanizing tolls. There is no free sex anywhere. That housemaid may be sweet now but it’s a venom to your destiny. That university young lady may be a thrill today but leaves a toxin on your spirit forever. The man dating another man is a poisoned passion. Forget stories.

Sex tax is real and men pay huge for pleasure. So sad, it’s a dumb tax. We call it “dumb tax” because it’s the penalty you pay for decisions you already knew were wrong. The hidden interest rates are brutal: disease, debt, damaged relationships, deadened conscience. And when it comes to sexual compromise, the dumb tax is never discounted. You think you’re paying for pleasure, but you’re renting destruction. You believe you’re gaining freedom, but you’re mortgaging your soul.

 The enemy never sells at cost. He sells on credit, with a balloon payment in the small print. Here’s the dangerous truth: your body keeps the receipts. Your mind keeps the footage. Your spirit keeps the wounds. Even when God forgives and He does for the repentant, the scars still whisper at night. A child out of wedlock and a lifetime irreversible medication for contracted diseases. One man loses his savings chasing one-night stands. Another loses his ministry in a 20-minute hotel room. A third loses his children’s respect after years of secret messages and late-night swipes. One game, different payments, same tax.

 Illegal sex is illicit trade. No one runs from the law forever. Even if you are not caught, it doesn’t remove the fact that you are a criminal. Fidelity isn’t just about staying out of someone else’s bed. It’s about staying fully present in your own. Sanctity isn’t just avoiding sin; it’s cultivating a space where sin can’t grow. Sexual integrity is not the absence of temptation; it’s the mastery of response.

In all thy getting, get self-control. Against such, there is no law. Sir, it’s either you control or you are controlled.

Sex is the most expensive sin in the universe. It costs an undiscerning man his destiny. Many men are so naive to think illegal sex costs nothing?

 The Bible celebrates sex within covenant. Song of Solomon sings of it. Proverbs warns about it. Paul frames it as a mystery that mirrors Christ and His Church. But outside of God’s design, sex becomes a currency in the devil’s economy, and the exchange rate is always against you.

 Here’s a thought worth keeping in your breast pocket: Sex outside of God’s plan is always a bad investment. There is always a negative RoI. Always.

 And yes, the culture will mock you for staying pure. They’ll call you weak. Funny thing is, it takes far more strength to stand than to fall. It’s easier to undress than to guard your heart. It’s easier to say yes in the moment than to live with the no you should have said. Like Joseph, you better never enter Potiphar’s wife’s room in the first instance. You may not be able to escape. Even If you escape, your garment might be in the hands of the enemy.

Like Bro. Job, say it boldly:  I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

 So what do you do if you’ve already paid dumb tax or you are paying the dumb tax? Stop the transaction. Tear up the contract. Walk out of the shop. Christ not only cancels the debt, He resets the account. The blood pays what you can’t. The Spirit empowers what you can. Rebuild your walls. Reset your boundaries. Reconnect with brothers who will place pulse and purity thermometers on your walk with Christ Jesus. Feed your mind with Scripture before the scroll of temptation. Guard your rest so fatigue doesn’t become the thief’s open door. And for heaven’s sake, stay away from the places, screens, and situations that make sin look affordable. Sexual sins thrives in secrecy and emerges as a shame.

 Sir, your sexuality is God’s territory. Keep it fenced. Keep it fruitful. Keep it faithful. Would you or am I asking for too much ? Shakes or nodes, sexual purity pays, pray for purity.

Reflection: A night of pleasure can cost a decade of peace.

Prayer: Lord, keep my heart pure, my eyes clean, my steps steady. Cancel my dumb tax and teach me Your wisdom. Amen.
